When polyps turn into bowel cancer? - bowel polyps
Hello, my father was a colonoscopy and have 2 polyps. One of them managed to eliminate, but was (about the size of a tennis ball that I think) significant and are not removed at the same time. It was a slice of a large polyp to check for cancer cells.
Are all large polyps cancer? How likely is it cancer?
Thank you for your help
Although polyps can become cancerous, most are benign. I do not think size has any relationship. The shape of polyps, because as you age, the lining of the colon will always form protruding slightly in May to a bag or polyps. Even if a biopsy is performed, to be sure, is the biggest problem that they can be infected.
